Question popping sound

Alright guys trying to figure out what is causing this, when I make sharp turns (like turning into/backing out of a parking space) while moving I hear a loud "POP" come from my front end. It will not do it if the truck is not moving. There is no play in the stearing wheel, I can let the wheel go and it stays straight on the road, When I was down changing the shocks nothing looked out of place or loose, and one would think that if something were wrong up front that they would have said something when they did my alignment the other day as well. I am thinking it may be my tire may be catching the wheel well when I turn but my tires are not big, right now they are a 275/60/R20. Any suggestions??

they wouldn't have caught it when doing the alignment if they were the ones that screwed it up...

do you have a 4wd?

Oh and its not like its a repeating "pop" either, just one single pop then it stops. Granite Im not holding it there for a long period of time or doing doughnuts in the parking lot but I know the tire has to be making more than one full revolution, so even if ithe tire was catching on the wheel well there would be more than just one pop, right?

The thing thats leaning me away from the power steering is that the truck will still turn on a dime there is no play in the steering wheel.

Already been answered but yes it has been doing it off and on for the last month now. I just got the shocks in and had the alignment done on Tuesday of this week.

Make sure your wheel nuts are tight.
Caliper movement if your brakes are worn.
Spring seat.
Track rod end.
Something loose under the hood like a oil can or something you've left there.
Wheel bearing, but it would have to be bad to pop. You'd know that.

Wheel nuts are tight and torqued down

Brakes were done last yearand only have about 10k on them, looked at them while I had the tire off and they still have plenty of pad left

Thought about something being under the hood but it doesn't sound like something banging into something else, best way to describe it would be like how it sounds when you crack your knuckel, exact same tone only much louder.

And correct me if I am wrong but pretty much anything that has to deal with your front suspension should affect how the vehicle handels and its driving great, turns on a dime, no play in the wheel, no noticable rough ride coming from either side of the front wheels. The only reason I got the shocks was because the rea shocks were gone. It does not do it while making a turn on surface streets, only happens when puulling in/out of parking spaces or pulling in/out of the driveway (and no I am not hitting anything, I know somone will probably ask that at some point).
