Tire opinion going to buy soon
I have a local cooper dealer that I have always purchased my tires from and they always seem to have excellent prices.
My driving is mainly highway driving with very little offroading. I live in PA so snow and wet traction is also important
I got two price quotes one for Copper discoverer HT plus and the second for Cooper Zeon LTZ
Discoverer HT plus = $681
Zeon LTZ = 809
I have seen a lot of good reviews for the Zeon LTZ but I have not found much about the Discoverer HT plus
Based on the tires and the prices which would you go with
thanks

well thats a good price for the zeons. i just got mine from discounttiredirect.com for 820 in total. i did some driving on them today and like them alot so far but its only been a few miles. with the stock tires i always hopped the rear end but couldnt get the truck to do it today, these tires bite into the ground really well, very good grip. but if your on the highway alot maybe the h/t's might be better.
Did you buy the Hazard Warranty for that price? Mine were only $640 shipped
Thanks for the replies I did look at multiple tire threads before posting.
but I wanted actual opinions based on these two tires and I could not find much on the HT's.
Both of these prices are out the door prices also they are in the stock 20 size

Hello fellow PA rammer. If you do mostly highway driving the HT is probably best. They should ride nicely. The zeons are an AT tire. They look great and get awesome reviews. Here is a link to the HT's. http://www.coopertire.com/Flash/index.aspx Although I looked and it seems the HT's are not offered for 20's. Maybe that will make your decision easier.
