Hey guys trying to update. Haven't done any update or even hooked up the Tuner to my computer till now.

I went to the website and downloaded the setup wizard. Ran it, when it asked me to plug in my tuner with a USB I did. Once I started the install I ended up getting this message:


"The wizard was interrupted before SuperchipsUpdate could be completely installed. Be sure a programmer is connected and....

You system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run set up again."

When I hooked up the Tuner the computer recognized it. I clicked cancel when it prompted you to install device drivers, because that is what the Superchips setup tells you to do.

Anyone have any ideas?

 

Do you have some kind of a firewall up that could be blocking it? I know that a lot of guys have had firewalls that have given them problems with updating the tuner.

 

All I have is windows firewall. I tried the update with the firewall on and off. Still no dice.

 

are you trying to run it on Vista??? I have this problem on Vista, but if i use the computer upstairs with XP then no problems.....for some reason, their program doesn't work with vista
