Angry Rubbing Compound

Someone bumped me in the parking lot of a grocery store and didn't have the "*****" to stay and let me know. I was only in there less than4 minutes. So now I have white paint on my blue bumper and I have to replace my bumper pad(80 bucks). Could have been worse.. Anyway is there any trick to using rubbing compound???? I tried regular wax with my buffer and some came off but not all.

if your using an electric buffer then yeah you do cause you can burn through the clear coat....i always just did it by hand....easier that way and have more control over it
