I think torque was slightly lower too. But if you get the six speed it's geared for pullin. I think the 2500 and 3500 have almost the same weight if you compare two trucks of the same body style. The 3500 can out tow and haul though.

You have 4.10's in that ram?

I know i tow a lot with my truck, and at times i feel like my hemi is even underpowered for a 2500... That's why i was suprised to hear of a 3500 with a hemi.

Thats actually just around the mileage i get with my 2500. But i do have a body lift and big 35's to turn... Which doesnt help my mileage.

Sorry this is off topic a little, but my 4.7 w/152000 miles rattles in the morning when it is cold. Goes away once the motor is warm, and runs perfect, just sounds like a diesel in the mornings! I plan on dropping the pan and checking all rods and mains, but what else should i inspect? are lifters next inline to replace also?
