lifted, lowered or stock...it's still a truck and can be used as a truck....my lowered ram would haul just as much as my lifted ram and any other 1500 truck out there....needless to say, the only option he would have as of right now is doing the new shackles out back and new front springs in the front....but still think your gonna have problems with the prop shaft being too long......more then likely will need to have one made

I put the 2" drop shackle in the back to level out mine, looks great. Check out moesperformance.com he has 2/4 or 4/6 drop kits for your truck. They are obviously a bit pricier than just a shackle, depends on your budget.

the thing with doing any sort of a drop in the front is gonna the be prop shaft....there is no play really for that much of a change...a new prop shaft will need to be made for the truck to maintain it's 4x4...droping the rear 4" shouldn't be a problem, but i'm pretty sure theres not enough play in the t-case to allow the driveshaft to slide in another 4"...there again, driveshaft is gonna need to be made.....

either way, your lookin at prolly a good $500+ to have driveshafts made to make the truck work once it's lowered

that is pretty funny saying a lifted truck is worthless you can use it even more clear greater obsticles before and still be able to tow anything under the sun a lowered truck thats 4x4 is worthless should have got a 2 wheel drive since you are carrying more weight and lowered truck seem more for speed but with a 4x4 working against yourself but to each their own

Sorry, might have jumped the gun saying 4/6 for the 4x4. Thought I read a post where someone bought a 4/6 kit and they had 4x4. 2/4 is definitly available though, not cheap between 7 and 8 hundo for most. Im not about to slam somebody for wanting to drop a 4x4. If thats the effect he wants then let him. I like the look of lowered trucks as well as jacked up trucks. low 4x4s still have functionality.... They can tow, haul, and work well on slippery or snowy roads.
