yeah not quite sure why you'd want to buy a 4x4 and then lower it....either way...bout the only way you could get away with it would be new shackles in the rear to drop the rear but to drop the front you would have to do new springs...........but there's not that much play in the front prop shaft, unless you had one made.....

Slammed1 is probably your best bet even having to wait. I have their drop shackles and they clunk around (yes i have them installed right) but the truck sits much nicer now. I also loosened my torsion bars about 3 turns out to get a little dip on the front end. I dont have any pics of the setup currently but the shackles made the truck level and the torsion thing put me back to about 1/2" front rake.

Some of us only need 4x4 for snowy roads in the north. Its a waste of time to lift a truck if you ever want to use it as a truck again. Getting in, using the bed without a ladder, towing a trailer without a 12" drop receiver... what a waste.

alright i didnt ask for you guys to give me all these bulls h i t answers iv seen it done before. Me personally i would never buy a 4x4 to lower it but he was tight on cash and came across a good deal. lifted trucks are just as worthless as lowered ones.
