Default Sub Box and seat lift update!!!!! L5 is almost Complete.

Here are pictures of the finalized product that I posted I was working on a little over a month ago. I put the shallow mount design on hold for the time being because request for this style box out weighed the shallow mount style. Any questions reguarding this set up and or the progression of the L5 10" sub box set up contact me at dodgesubbox@gmail.com or check out my myspace page myspace.com/dodgesubbox. I have one of these on ebay right now with a starting bid of $175.00 w/free shipping. Copy and paist this: Dodge Ram Custom Subwoofer Box and Seat Lift 02-08 QC into the search field the auction will begin 02-25-2009 at 7:00pm. The L5 and L7 box will look the same only it will have a square mounting hole.

How much airspace have you been able to achieve? How much did you lift the seat? Is that box fiberglass?

Lookin good!

Default sub box and seat lift update.

I am getting 1.9 combined cubic feet. The seats are lifted 2". They are made from 3/4" MDF. A sub with a magnet width of 7" wide will fit. Mounting depth is 7.5". Most claim they have around 1.1 comdined cubic feet but, that is outside dimentions not inside. Mine are true inside dimentions. Dodge Ram Custom Subwoofer Box and Seat Lift 02-08 QC This is my ebay listing. I have more info. on the listing.

looks good. Its up to you, but there are alot of mis-spelled words in the ad and that would kind of make me think twice if I was about to bid on something...just my opinion.

Default sub box and seat lift update!!!!!

Thanks for the heads up on the spelling. I forgot to spell check. It was early in the morning when I typed that up. Hd not had my coffee and I am not the greatest speller. Add forgetting to spell check and you end up with like 10 misspelled words. Thanks also for the complement. I put a lot of hard work into making all of them look great. If I would not put them in my truck or question one little flaw, I scrap the box.

What holds the back part of the seat from falling down when you hit the brakes? Lifting the seat will pull the back hook out of the track and allow the back to fall forwards.?? Does the angle of the seat hold it?

dirty, when I lifted my seat, the bracket were loos to, but the way my seat collapsed, and folds, when it in seating position, it sits firm like nothing ever happened. I havent investigated though. 2" lift shouldnt be a problem, it would be close, but shouldnt be a problem.

Good lookin box. We have just about the same airspace. Yes, my measurements are internal measurements!

Hmm. I thought it would have caused an issue. Anyways, 04, I was darn close on your measurements in your thread.
