Default P0138

I got a P0138 code today, "P0138 O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 2) " after installing superchips flashpaq, new pcv valve, champion plugs (copper factory plugs) and some 10.4mm taylor shorty wires, an oil change and a differential change this past weekend...what do I need to do to fix this? I'm assuming it's just an O2 sensor I need to fix? What's "Bank 1" mean exactly. Thanks in advance for all your help guys!

Bank 1 is driver side, sensor 2 is rearward, after the cat. Replace it, take you 10 mins...

is it fouled from running too rich with the powerwire and flashpaq? Do you think it just needs to be replaced, kinda odd timing to go out huh?

I just replaced that myself, easy, its located right by the transfer case, just unplug it, un screw the old one. screw the new one in and plug it in, clear the codes.

i got mine from Mopar Parts America, was like 32, MSRP is like 58 or something

Power wire richens, just like a lower temp thermostat. Superchips advances the timing, which leans. So no, I don't think it fouled because you are running rich...

Actually, I have a 180 thermo, powerwire, K&N intake, dumped exhaust and flashpaq...I also did the Sea Foam thing on Sunday, 3 days ago...It seems to be driving weaker since the CEL came on...sound right to you guys?

nope, the two rearward O2 sensors are only there to make sure you don't cut out the cats. They look for cleaner air flow than what passed by the front sensors. If a front sensor goes, depending on what it is sending the PCM, the PCM may adjust incorrectly and performance can suffer. The rear ones do not do this, just basically tell the PCM "yeah the dude has a cat and it's working" or "the dude just broke the law and cut out his cat or "it's clogged and he needs a new one"...
The rear O2 sensor is NOT doing a thing to your truck. Me thinks it's in your head...

Although personally, I would NEVER run a power wire in conjunction with a lower temp thermostat...

I won't say you'd do any damage, but they both do basically the same thing. One makes the truck run cooler so the PCM adjusts by keeping the idle higher and richening the mix, the other "fools" the PCM into thinking it's cooler and has the PCM do the same thing. If the PCM overadjusts, you could have an issue. And yes, both will richen you up quite a bit. Your saving grace is probably that at the same time the SC tuner and CAI both will lean you out some.
But if the internal temperature inside the engine doesn't get hot enough, you'll have carbon build up and condensation issues that would play a part in a shorter engine life. I have no data to back it up, just my take on it...

Weird thing...I started it twice today, and no CEL at all, drove it about 6-7 miles today so far. Do y'all think it could have been a computer error, or is the sensor O2 sensor still messed up and should be replaced when the new one arrives in the next few days? Seems to be driving perfect...so I don't really know...any input? Thanks guys!
