I honestly would love a daytona because it already has 3/4 of the things I wanted with my truck (srt-10 hood, a hemi, etc)

then again a rumble bee with an srt-10 hood and rims would work fine also :-p

That's what I was thinking. I saw the one guy calls his that, but it looks more like he just has the R/T, and he put the Daytona wing on it, and a custom R/T logo below the wing. I then went to build one on the Dodge site, and couldn't find the Daytona option, built Sport, Laramie, and SLT. The TRX is the only one that I didn't build, but that shouldn't affect it having the Daytona option.

When I go on vacation, I tow a 33' travel trailer so I won't buy anything less than a 1 ton (SRW). I would think the new 1500 would be fine for towing a boat, though (the 5.7L Hemi certainly has enough power).
Same as the 08. 9100lbs.
The F150 Got 10 hp, up to 310 with 390lb/ft. It also got a nice 6 speed auto to keep the engine in the peak power range. Dodge needs to get with the tranny program and come up with a stronger unit with at least 6 fwd gears.
The F150 will also tow over 11k lbs. 2K more than the more powerful Ram.
I came over to Dodge from Ford and I must admit, the 09 F150 is ugly. Looks like a SuperDuty. Too porky and underpowered.
Dodge needs to put the leaf springs back in the 1500 and give us a real transmission with a comparable towing capacity.
The new Ram looks nice, but I am quite happy with my 08 Big Horn. I would like the 10 speaker Alpine system from the 09 though!!

Dodge did have a transmission available in '08 with 6 forward gears, evidently not enough interest to keep offering it.

R/T in 09 is only available in a regular cab model and Daytona was only available in 04-05.
