I still think you will be able to have the red on as you drive it just cant be something that is directly flashing a red or blue light at other drivers but i see cars and have a friend that had blue neons on all the time will driving around

Go with the LED lights instead of neon.Most states won't hassle you about lights unless they are installed to be mistaken for emergency vehicles.

 

im not wild on the neon kits on a pickup truck ya know? personally i think the big rig look is better. obviously you can tell by looking at my truck lol. but hey man they look nice if you do it right and its your truck.... whatever makes you like it.

 

yea i have the street glow 7 color led pack with 4 tubes and let me tell u, everybody loves them!! i had them on my old car and they stuck out in the front and rear but now they are completely hidden. i have an 05 dodge quad cab and i just ran my on/off controller thingy to right under my steering wheel and it looks stock. i would recommend them to anyone, and with me never going off roading i dont have to worry about them busting like neon tubes!

 

i used streetglow gold series and nothing else. do not have it installed on my ram but had them installed on my monte carlo and grand am in past cars
