I have a question? I found a 3815 for sale and it is for an 04 hemi. SC does make one for an 03 can it be flashed for 03 programming? What is the difference in an 03 Hemi than an 04? Thanks

 

Won't work, The whole exchange is encrypted through there software.

Seriously though, The 3815 model covers all our Hemi trucks from 03 to 08.

 

I know there has to be a difference because my truck does not have an EGR valve.

 

What does the egr valve have to do with it? There is the one unit for all the ram trucks from 03 - 08. The unit modifies the stock program, So the changes in the years and config don't really make a difference as long as the ECU uses the same program.

Ok dude, I have been drinking, but not that much, When did superchargers come in to the pic. I thought we were talking about SC 3815 programmer.

Besides will you guys stop showing me that, I am gonna sick my wife after all of you when she finds out I bought one because I kept seeing links to it on this forum, And beleive me she won't be nice....

 

This is what I seen thinking that there was a difference in the ECM in the 03 to 04 but after reading a bit more it looks like they haven't made any super chargers for any of the Hemis yet. I was just seeing alot of adds for headers and things and alot of them say 04 and up Hemis, but I think they just did that to avoid the confusion of the 03 model 2500's because they changed there body style in mid year...

 

you know your gonna eventually get one.I did and the wife wasn't happy about it either.I just told her that it would make the truck get better gas milage.she was ok with it after that

 

So who wants to see me there locked programmer for $50 bucks :-P


You guys think its ripping the company off...lmao!! There are many vehicles that you can take to a local tuner and get a custom one time tune for the same prices as these programmers....who is really ripping who off?
