Default Clutch Switch problem

I have a manuel transmission in my Ram and the switch on the clutch pedal is going out . Went to the local auto parts store(napa) they told me good luck. I think I found it. I just need to know for sure its location and if connecting the two wires together is a valid solution, even though I lose that safety feature.

Thanks for your help

The clutch pedal sensor is on the pedal itself just like a brake sensor. You should be able to do what you want. It's just a grounded wire when the clutch is pushed it.
