That's where the adjustable pedal switch is....you can grab the factory part for the area and wire it up, make a nice clean look. My 04 is a 4x4 Laramie, and the area under the HVAC is solid, with 2 heated seat switches and 2 "blanks". I drilled out 1 for my exhaust cutout. I wanted to use the factory switches but it was too much money. I can take a pic in the morning....it seems like most ram's have a tray in that spot, it could be replaced with the solid piece and you can mount all the switches you want...

Can you take a picture of your light switch? I don't have that spot on my truck.

Here's the pedal switch and the center stack....i was going to stick the cutout switch where the pedal switch was, but there was no room back there...there is some room, but none with the existing switch, so check clearance before you cut.

sorry, should've clarified....there is space back there, but if you have the pedal switch and want to keep it, your room is limited. the QTP cutout switch was huge, and I couldn't make it work back there with the pedal switch.

not at bad as you'd think, 25-30 bucks....but I didn't want to mess with making it work after I drilled out the blank.

Not sure on the reliability of that site, but here's the part numbers for your dealership, taken from my old post when I was looking for switch options...

"56049709AA is the Power Wagon sway bar switch, 56045625AB is the left heated seat switch, and 56045626AB is the right heated seat switch"

I have 5 switches for my emergency lights and siren and such. 2 are mounted right next to the steering wheel, and the other 3 are above my head by the interior cab lights. both are a pain in the crack to make work, but look great when done, IMHO.

why not go to an auto wrecker and get the power pedal switch? It is a self releasing switch and you could probably get the whole color matched panel for about 20 bucks.
