Default Wouldn't Start

Today i took my truck for a drive, started fine. Stopped at a friends and came out of the garage, started my truck, but then ended up going inside the house for a few minutes so a friend shut the truck off for me. Then when i went to leave my truck just turned over like it was either missing fire or gas. I tried it a few times and it just turned over and didn't even try start. I took the key out and then put it back in and tried it and it started right away. It ran fine afterword and i restarted it a few times after arriving home and it started right up. This ever happen to any of you and any ideas what would cause it. Had an 88 ram for 8 years and it never let me down, this one isn't starting out so great. I sold my 88 ram and my 2000 S10 ZR2 on Friday.

This ever happen to anyone else. The truck is a 2004 quad cab 4 x 4 with the 4.7. Thanks. Also anyone who has put tow hooks on their truck, how much did they cost? Were they hard to install?

Most likely a blip. Mine the other day the key stuck in the start position and would not start. Turned off and tried again without a repeat.????????
I got my tow bar from Ebay real cheap. The 2500's are different from the 1500's and the 02-05 are different from the 06-09. Install is easy but you have to drop the front bumper (make sure you unhook the fog lights first).
