Who has owned or drove both and what kind of power difference was there between both hemi's ? concidering the 09 has more power, or was it not much different.

 

I have driven both, and i can feel a little difference in the butt dyno, but the major differences are the ride, interior and the handling. Thats the only thing I dont like about the 09 ram.... it rides too much like a car.

 

i have drove a 09 with 20's, 3.92's,4x4,crew cab. and it runs very good. it ran alot better than the 05,quad,4x4,20's i drove. both had hemi's. and i like the ride.nice and smooth.

 

The only thing I really like about it is the ride quality, its very smooth, but I have also heard of a trash bag killing the rear suspension on the 09's. Powerwise its nothing to grin at, it is still losing way to much power through the drivetrain to make any difference.

 

well i cant comment too much, all the 09 and 10's i drove at chrysler didn't have the production tune in the PCM and they freakin hauled ***....personally, theres some things on the 09 i like but i'd still take my 05 over an 09 any day of the week....at least untill the 2010 rolls out with the new CTD V8
