Duralast is just Autozone's house brand. Not sure why it would be that high unless it is a lifetime warranty part. Even at $25 it's a fairly inexpensive fix though.

hey guys....good news so far. T-stat is in and radiator topped off with fresh Zerex G-05 coolant mixture. Took it for a "test" drive and it appears to be working great. No overheating and stays right at mid mark or just below. I have a commute tomorrow(Southern California) and I'll report back....but so far so good.
