why is it that everybody out there are getting bad gas mileage i have a 05 dodge ram 2500 5.7l cold air intake quad cab and im getting 14 in town 19.9 hwy no superchip yet but in the works .whats going on people

 

Hope this doesn't burst your bubble... are you relying on the O/H console?

I get 13-16 cause my exhaust sounds sooo good.

 

I get 12 -14 in the city, But the more I mod the more I seem to want stomp on it. I think I have some kind of syndrom. Maybe I need to goto Modders Anon. or M.A.

if i could get a steady 14 i would be ecstatic. i know mine is lifted and all that, but i only get about 12.5 highway or not.

 

Is that by OH console?

 

I get 15-16 mpg via the idiot box. Hand calc'd is 13.5-14.5 mpg.

 

Going by overhead, I get 9.9. Unfortunately, everytime I calc it by hand, it comes out about dead on.
