those look pretty slick, but i think his dash is cracked down further than what that would cover.

I seem to remember hearing that armor all may make your dashboard look good, but it actually dries it out faster. Has anyone else heard this or have any info?

I was skeptical about it at first, cause when I got it it was just coming onto the market, but I thought what the hell - it came free, this kit I got, and I love it, the wash, tire cleaner, vinyl & leather cleaner, window cleaner... its not all that bad, it's kept the color of my dash in too but I dont know the cost of it.

It impressed me. its the only thing that the stealership gave me that I didnt have an issue with. LMAO

Armor All and any of the other vinyl/plastic products are fine, the key is to NOT overuse them. Too much, too often is just as bad as not doing anything for the dash at all.

The best thing you can do is get you a $10 window shade and use it religiously! Every time you get out of the vehicle for more than just a few minutes. I use them in all my vehicles along with a good cleaning an a light Armor All coat about once every three months and despite living in the deep south, I've never had an issue with a dash yet...

ice is the best product. i used to use armor all but ice works 10x better. it works on all surfaces and even removes stains.

Hey GM..i have an 02 and my dash is cracking too..i called chrysler support and told them about what happen..they gave me a quote of $1913.00 for a new dash and labor..they agreed to pay $913 and i had to come up with the $1000..so pretty much put me in a spot of having to do it..so my new dash will be coming in this week sometime to be put in..SUX let me tell ya...also heard that putting armorall on your dashes is bad b/c it dries out the dash making it more vulnerable to crack...good luck
