Anybody have dyno or mpg results or sound clips of their e-cutouts? very interested in doing this now after all the research. I was also thinking of re-routing the stock exhaust so it cant be seen coming out of the back. is it possible to just cut off the stock muffler and re-mount it in a center location so that ugly looking stock pipe isn't coming out the rear?

I am looking at putting a DMH Cutout on my truck leaving everything else stock for now, I have not gotten under an looked yet I do beleive I need the 2.5 inch pipe to put it in line right? that along with the CIA intake should help the Hemi a little.

You will need the 3" y-pipe and cutout for your application. That is what I installed and it fit perfectly.

Motorized valve that attaches to one end of a y-pipe. When it is closed the exhaust flows through the exhaust as normal. When the cutout is open the exhaust flows out of the cutout bypassing the rest of the exhaust system (typically the muffler).

If i were to get a cutout i would go with a mild exhaust this way i didnt have to deal with the drone and then when i want to make some noise just flip the switch..

You can get regular cut-out too but it's a PITA because you have to get under the truck and remove the plate by hand...electric is the way to go though

Yeah, a manual cutout is a pain. Cliimbing under there to open and close it is just more trouble than it is worth for everyday driving.

I think I read somewhere that it is 2.5" but someone who actually has a 4.7 might be better suited to answer this one.
