ok so i just want to know if its ok to run 10w30 in my hemi ram. i got 10w30 royal purple on accident...i know that sounds rediculous but they had it on the wrong shelf at autozone. its already in the truck so i cant really take it back, but i want to know if ill be ok.

 

it should be okay for one oil change...its only approx 5000 miles, then go with what is recommended. you went higher, not lower, than what was called for. i did it once when i first got mine.

 

Depends on how cold it gets in your area

 

well im stationed in georgia right now so i think ill be ok. its cold right now but its only like 48 and warmer. gets down to high 20s at night but it aint like i drive during the night. weather supposed to get warmer in the coming weeks anyhow.
