i know any used vehile i ever bought used came with the balance of the factory warranty if it wasnt passed the 3/36

 

Not always true. I think it also has to do with where you buy your truck. I bought mine used at a five star dodge dealer and it came with an 8 year/80,000 mile warranty.

 

well i bought mine 14 months ago and i got an extended warranty which extended then 8/80. i cant remember now though, but the dealer might have said if i didnt get the 8/80 (which is the original warranty for a neww truck) then i would just ge the 3 month 3k warranty, i could be wrong, its been over a year.

 

I bought my truck used and it's still under factory warranty

 

The 3 year/36k mile warranty is transferable and almost always valid no matter how many owners the truck has had. The one that is not transferable is the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty.

 

I bought my truck new in Oct 2007. I took it to an independant garage for the inspection. I will be taking the truck to the dealer for the warrenty work.
