2005 leveling
About raising the back, were you referring to the helper springs? If so, my dad put blocks in the front, if I remember right.
The shocks didnt give me lift, they just supported my truck better than my stock shocks would, because they were so damned wore out. They kinda gave me back the lift I always had, i guess.

well i dont have any aftermarket keys in my truck but i raised the torrision bars up got about 2 inchs of lift, im wondering if u put the keys in does that give u 2.5 inches then if u crank the bars up futher would it give u another 2 inches? totaling 4.5 inches???
When a company refers to 2.5" keys, they are referring to the total lift that can be achieved with the new keys. That means, after you install the new keys, if you were to tighten the torsion bars all the way, all you would achieve was 2.5".
The point is that most aftermarket keys are forged, which makes them about 25% stonger than the keys that you have in your truck now. If you are going to stress the IFS suspension w/ 35's then it is worth the $100 to upgrade the keys imo. It will help the suspension support the tires much easier and will help save the rest of the front end on your 5500lbs truck.
