Default Valance Scoop

Anyone ever think of fashioning some kind of scoop to cut into the the lower valance, Either for a custom CAI or just to push cooler air into the engine bay? Seems to be a perfect spot for a scoop. Yeah I know about the little scoop that goes between the radiator support. Im thinking bigger more air.

that would be a good idea, if you only ran the truck in the summer with no water hazard.

I don't think water would be an issue unless you went throug a puddle that was foot and half deep. Generally water doesn't move up, However air can. It would really have to be splahed up there to become an issue and thats assuming you have the filter directly attached to the scoop.

Put the scoop at a little bit of a downward angle, and you shouldn't have to worry about water. If no one does anything on this, I might take a look at it this summer, see what I can do, but doubt I'd get anything good.
