Sucks but at least she came in and told you about it. I had to run down the guy that backed into my truck just 2 months after I bought it new. I was taking a break from work and went to go get a bite to eat and watched this old **** head back out of his parking space, had plenty of room to turn but instead backed up another 20ft straight through a full other row of parking spots and then right into my front bumper then took off. My *** was out the door running through the parking lot and caught him before he could leave and forced him turn his car around and give me his information. His insurance company paid it in full as well as a rental car while it was down. The sad part was that they said this was like the 10th time this sort of thing had happened in that month alone...

So today I came to the realization that I'm less pissed about the damage and having to send my baby off to the shop than I am about dealing with goddamn insurance companies. Adjusters, claim forms, phone calls, ugh. "That estimate seems high for the amount of damage..." Tighter than a ducks butt, AIG.

+1 don't ya just love USAA? I switched to them the week after the suv hit me... the ins adjuster when they quoted me asked about the wreck (cause I had to use my old ins to get a rental and betterment issues with the other company - oh I went around in circles with them - they wanted to try to tell me the drive way wasnt wide enough to be 2 different lanes for turning out (one for left, one for right)

I told the adjuster for the other company that I know how the f**king law works and I have had enough law enforcement in my family and a f**king MP taught me how to drive and about his job. I will bet my deductable that I would be found to not be at fault and I would be right about the whole thing and I would meet them when they went to inspect the driveway... They hung up on me... but I met them and I laughed when they got done and I was proven right...

USAA - I asked them about replacing my drivers side door from my semi accident and if I culd get their help in gettting the other comapny to pay for it since its been a document issue since I picked it up after the accident. They said talk to my attorney, and if I could they would help me. and they would waive my deductable (250.00) and go after the semi company for everything and I would have full reigns to make sure it was all done, that they would just cut me a check for whatever it costs...

I love them, I have both my car and renter ins thru them. 65/month for both.
