How big of a deal is the whole Offset measurments? Also my truck is stock height and i still want a good bit of tire. Im looking at getting Nitto tires. i have 22" rims with 305/40-22 tires. i dont know if that helps you or not. i know you could go up to 33" tires or 305/45-22 with no problem if you dont have a leveling kit

With the set of tires you have how is your ride? Is it rough or smooth?

Im also running 305/40/22 with a 12mm offset and they dont stick out that bad. Keep in mind too much offset will cause stress on the wheel bearings though.

i have Continental CrossContact UHP. the ride isnt bad but it is nice and firm though. i plan on getting 305/45-22 when they go out. that adds like an extra inch of sidewall which should make ride softer

I ordered a set of 22"x9.5 with a 18mm offset. How much stress will that put on the bearings. What can i do to the bearings to keep them from getting stressed? How far out will the 18mm stick out?

Like I said, mine are a 12mm offset. I can take a pic and show you if you want but it isnt much at all. Plus if you ordered them already then theres no sense in crying over spilled milk, you know what Im saying? As for how much stress? IDK. I have no way or idea how to stress test without very specific testing equipment. I can tell you there are lifetime wheel bearing hubs you can buy incase you start to go through them but I really doubt you will. The stock 20s on the Ram were 20*9 and you only moved out (rim) by half a inch. 18mm converted to inches is only .70866 of an inch. I just dont think you are going to see a big issue from that.

You guys realize that a 35mm offset will not stick out at all right? lol it might actually set too far in toward the truck. I just bought wheels with a -11mm offset which should be perfect. They will set out about an inch and a half from the fender, which I think will look nice. Here look at this article http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/...jsp?techid=101

Weedahoe if you can post a pic that would be great. Im just trying to get an idea of what to expect. Everyone's input has been very helpful. Now most people have 305/40/22 and when i look for 305/35/22 i dont fine much. Im looking for a tire that will look rugged, any tips?

i personally wouldnt go with 305/35/22 because you are going to have way to little sidewall. mostly when you go with that little sidewall it will narrower tire like 285/35 or 275/35 that looks better on smaller trucks and suvs. your dodge had the wheel wells to fit easily 33" tires. thats where i would go
