Thats EXACTLY what I do! I get those e-mails every time I put something on c-list. If they aren't willing to come see it and pay cash or go with me to the bank to cash a check or use paypal I won't deal with them. Sometimes I mess with them and ask them if they even know what they are trying to buy. They usually just pick ads at random and copy and paste the same thing on every e-mail. The reason I know that is because a few times when I am selling multiple things on c-list I have gotten the same exact e-mail from the same e-mail address but they are two COMPLETELY different things I am selling.

Its a scam. I got the same email a while back for a piano I was selling.

what kind of rims do u have for sale? might be interested. That is clearly a scam but it is fun messing with them!

i got the same type of e mail to when i was selling my tonneau cover. best bet is dealing with someone very local who you can meet up with somewhere to make the transaction in COLD CASH.
