Default Craigslist Rims

I couldnt think of anywhere else to ask this question, but I have a set of rims i am selling on craigslist, i put them up for sale yesterday and got an email from a person already, here it is

Thanks for the prompt response and i will love to make an instant purchase i
will be posting a certified check or money order to cover the cost of the
item while you hold on my behalf. Once you have this,my mover will come
pickup at you place.I will be needing the following information to issue out
the payment . . .

1.full name on the check.
2.Full Physical address to post the check
3.City, State and Zip Code
4.Home & Cell Phone to contact you

Note that the payment will be shipped to your address via UPS NEXT DAY
AIR SERVICE and I will like you to know that you will not be
responsible for shipping i will have my mover to come over as soon as
you have cashed the check

I am 99% sure this is a scam, but i was wondering if you guys think i should have them next day a money order just to mess with em and make them pay those next day fees?

it does sound like a scam. but if they are sending you a money ordre, and you cash it, how is it a scam?

I wouldn't touch it. You could have Andre the Giant show up to pick them up if you have them send the check. Sometimes the bank won't even catch on that it is counterfeit until later. Then they will come looking for you to return the cash.

Not 100% sure, but i have read that they make counterfeit money orders and they often send you a counterfeit money order for over the amount and ask you to wire the excess back to them. i think im going to ask this person to send me a money order and just see if they send it for over the amount, if not and the money order goes through, great.

Yep, I got the same one on my Kickers I got for sale on CL. I asked him/her what address they wanted me to ship them to and what kinda truck he has and never heard back from them. Do not ship your items.

Because you sighn for the money order,so that make you responsible for the money. And if it really ain't there, you pay it back.and they get the stuff for free.or vise versa.my dads wife ot the same e-mail when she was selling puppys on te internet.excact same e-mail

It's a scam because it's just a cut and paste email, and they're just fishing for your info. I say no go on this one cause I'm positive you'll never see some fed ex delivered check. By the way most scams will rely on the mark's own greed to pull them off.
