the MAF should notice the change and compensate accordingly

i have a drop in K&N filter and when i start up my truck everytime you hear the MAF sensor adjusting to the new amount of air being taken in. That what the loud suckin sound you hear is. Im about to swap out my stock intake for a Volant. Any other suggestions?

I have come to know that from driveability tech's at Dodge the MAF has a range and it it reads outside this range it will just stay at that min/max reading as not to record a fault/Occurance in the ECM.That's why only increasing airflow will only give and the range is always a subject of discussion hp/torque.Thats why aftermarket runs a variation on numbers for their system's..I say get the one will the coldest aircharge.[sm=smiley16.gif]
