I have been looking at CAI and want the one that removes the hemi hat but from the pictures I cant tell if it does they all say the same thing for there info on the websites. It doent tell you it removed the hemi hat just it puts the filter in the best spot. So how can you be sure it removes the hemi hat if i am going to pay the 300 bucks I want to make sure I am getting my moneyts worth for the right product and I am looking at the BFI and Afe intake is gaining quite a bit because high quality low price but I cant tell if it replaces everything. So how can you tell if it connects and removes the hemi hat

 

Look at a pic of it installed and see if it connects to the throttle body or not. Most of the CAI's do remove the baffle..the only one i've seen that doesn't is the Volant.

 

most of the time i can not find a pic of the intake installed trust me been trying to i want to find one of the afe intake because i really like it for the price but hard to find so far

Which AFE are you looking at? I just went on their site and it looks like they have one that removes the hemi hat and one that doesn't.

ya i have the afe and it removed the hemi hat

 

57 series k and n is awsome and replaces thr whole system and is really loud!

 

BFI removes the hat and afe stage 1's leave it and stage 2's remove it.

 

alright i was looking at the stage 2 AFE's and which one is better the drop down with the long tube or the one with the box
