I have definitely considered that... but with that comes a lot of other mods that cost a lot of money. I think that 33" tires on 18" rims would look nice without the need for gears, lifts, shocks, spacers... and all that other stuff.

I'd love to have a crazy cool lifted Ram on 35s, but my budget and lifestyle doesn't really need it.

I started to analyze how much money I would spend making all that happen and I KNOW that there isn't any chance of recovering any of that money in the event that I sell that truck. That combined with how often I would ever need a truck with all that... I think I'll save my money. So, I'm trying to find a balance... the 33s on 18" wheels feels like that balance to me.

whats the tire size for your 20s right now? if you go with 33s, you wouldnt even need to level your truck out. im not sure but i think if you just put a leveling kit, you could fit 35" tires with just a little modding. i think there are a few people who did this with their stock 20s. it might actually be cheaper to buy a leveling kit and 35" tires to fit on your stock 20s then to buy 33" tires and 18" rims. its all up to you. whatever route you go willl look good

Yeah thats a good idea IMO because that way you end up with the best of both worlds without paying more.

That's what I thought too, but then I did a lot of reading on here about that subject and found that most would suggest a lift with 35s. The tire place I visited also said that if I buy 35s I'll need to lift it.

At any rate... thanks to all who took the time to reply
