Exclamation cruise control will not work, can any one help??

I have a 1999 Ram 1500 reg. cab. The cruise control just quit. The "cruise" light comes on on the dash when the truck is started.then it go's off... When you push the cruise button on the steering wheel, nothing happens. I tried looking for fuses or relays. There are fuses for everything but the C/C. Did I overlook the fuse? Any help/solution would be greatly appreciated. I would like to avoid taking it to the dealer for repair if it is a simple fix.

check all fuses. something dumb like the dome light fuse being blown may also make your c/c stop functioning as well.

but yea, it's probably a relay/fuse issue. check them all and replace as necesarry.

im not sure about 99s, but ive had a few vehicles that had a cc cable, and the cable might need to be replaced, or it may have come disconnected from the throttle body somehow
