I have the liners and the mud flaps and love them, no cutting required. But when I put my steps on I did have to trim about 1 1/2" inches of the front of them to clear the flaps.

just put them on so we can see how they look. it depends on your truck because they might go with it so try to post some pics then.
otherwise i would just try to sell them and buy something you really want

I bought them for about six months after I got my truck. Thought they would look good and I had a lot of little dings on the rockers from the tires kicking up stones. Kept them on since then, and I'll probably leave them on till I get my pocket flares. They don't look that bad on my truck, and they do help some. If you already have them, I say put them on and let us see what they look like.

LOL... I was just thinking about this last week. I have a bunch of nicks on the rear rockers. Some in the front but the steps are blocking and covering up some of the dings. Might get some since their cheaper than paint.

HOSS365, I'd love to see a picture of how you mounted them. I held them up there and thought I was going to have to do some trimming. Well I guess a pre-install and post-install will be required. Once I find the time I'll install and see if they grow on me. Guess it's easy enough to remove them..

I have both on my truck, no mods needed for install.

I had the Mopar mudflaps and running boards installed on my truck before I took delivery. Since I really like the looks of the truck out of the box, I won't add anything that doesn't serve an useful purpose.

Form follows function with me. The Ram's Head logos on both items just make it that much cooler for me, though.

I was thinking about putting some on just for the rocks. Your tires start flinging rocks up and you might scratch some paint off if it gets bad enough.

The last time I went off roading a buddy of mine was following on an ATV. I popped it into reverse, backed up towards him as quickly as I could, popped it into drive and floored it. I probably threw 100 lbs of mud at him. It was hilarious....to me... not so much to him. You can't do that with mud flaps. I'm not about to give up those good times for some mud flaps.

Then again, not everyone is as big of a jerk as me.
