I wouldnt recommend putting a ph2 onsimply because its pointless and not the right filter for your application (its also the same size as the ph16). On the new chargers and 300c's chrysler started switching up spindles and some take 2's and some 16's but I have had trouble trying to get a 16 on only to find out it takes a 2 and vice versa. A ph8A will work on both and will add about a 1/2 quart extra oil capacity.
Just went to Walmart yesterday to get oil and filter for my 08 RAM 4.7 TRX4. I used there Electronic Oil Filter finder. It had multiple choices for Standard filters, for example PH16 and Metric PH2. I guessed and picked the Standard. Went home drained the oil and took off the filter. YEA I GUESSED WRONG. It used the Metric. I had to take my wife's Jeep and return it for the other one. Don't know why the electronic finder had both choices. I selected 08 with 4.7 liter. Could it be possible that they made some of the 08s with metric and some with Standard????
Ive always used the PH8As on mine because they were slightly bigger and had more filtering media. Hopefully thats good for something in the long run....... ;-)
