I was wondering because I am going to put new headers on along with magna flow pipes, but the shops here in california as well as in WA wont run pipes after the headers with having cats. When I was under my truck looking today I noticed that I had two (what I thought were cats) on each side of the motor, which meant to me that I get to save some money and not buy new cats. Thanks for the verification.

Cool so your upgrading your exhaust. I only have v6 in mine, but eventually plan on putting some jba headers, replacing the y pipe, and muffler for some more power.

They be cats! Interesting I noticed there is an O2 sensor right on them now, used to be one before, one after. I'm guessing they are trying to make it even harder to omit the cats...

I never paid attention to mine being in the cat itself.
