Default Swapping in heavy duty leafs on a 1500..

Sounds doable right? just find a set of 2500 rear leafs at a junkyard or something

what are you trying to achieve? lift? ride height? load cap.? airbags would be the easiest solution for most cases, and they are fairly inexpensive at about $200/setup.

Man, you are going to absolutely HATE the ride, especially with an empty bed! The rear end is going to wonder all over the road when empty. Get a set of Air Bags!!! Stock ride when empty and depending on how high you air 'em up, they can be A LOT stronger than the 2500 leafs!!!

I want to increase load capacity well mostly decrease sag when carrying any significant weight. The ride would be a bit harder imvused to riding in hd trucks. Running five leaf setup instead of four wouldn't be as terrible as a heavy duty eight leaf. I found a set atthe local yardoff a power wagon for 75 bucks
