off white SLUDGE at top of oil filler??
it gets poured into the motor and you run the truck for how ever long it says to on the bottle then gets drained before refilling with clean oil. They sell it at the local auto parts store. Its been a while since I've done it but there are instructions on the back of the bottle.
I had posted this question about a month ago and it was just a condensation thing I run Mobil 1 now and it actually seems to be more noticable now then when I was just running Castrol Synthetic blend. I was wondering if you could drill and mount one of those small oil breathers like you could on those motors from the 60's and 70's valve covers. May be worth a look into
Here are pics from my oil filler cap. I use Royal Purple and didnt have this before using it. After I emailed them they sent a kit as they wanted a sample of my oil and scrapings from the filler cap. Well see what they say soon. I just sent the kit back to them.

haha yea, my buddy was just giving me possible possibilites on what was wrong, although he did say at 1st its most likely just condensation...
either way I find it odd that this is a problem. Ive NEVER had this issue in any of the 7 cars Ive ever owned.
theres gotta be a reason for why this happens along with a fix instead of just passing it off for condensation shouldnt there be? cant see how this could be any good for a motor what so ever

weedaho, my filler tube was MUCH worste than that. It was comletely gunked up blocking all passage through...I had to clear it out with a few rags. it was also stuck to the top of the oil cap...I should of taken a pic of it....im gonna monitor it and check it out and take a pic if it comes back again..
