Default Ram SRT-10

Anyone know why they only make the SRT-10's 2wd? I have been wondering that for a while now because everytime I look them up the description always says 2wd.

Thanks

it might just be because they don't have a beefy enough transfer case, and there isn't a demand to make one just for that application. it's like why they don't make a stick hemi, not enough demand for it.

It's a sport truck. They made 'em to go fast.

Lot of reasons, one the transfer case, but the suspension changes, and a handful of other technical changes prevented a 4 wheel drive version. Also, by design the SRT 10 was not meant to be a functional truck; despite having a bed it's not designed to haul heavy loads and the manual explicitly states that you are not supposed to tow with the SRT 10. It's meant to be exactly what it is: an entirely useless vehicle that guzzles too much gas and not enough practicality to be a daily driver but is a hell of a lot of fun to take out on the weekend and burn rubber.

Its pretty much been covered, but the simple fact is that it's a sport truck. It's not meant to go play in the meadows and craw over some rocks. It's soul purpose is to burn roads and supply dust for others to eat.

Because it is made for going fast. It was not made for going off road, through snow or hauling anything except a$$.

Also...If it was a 4x4 it would most likely be a little higher up in the air which would look goofy....can't have a goofy looking truck.
