My truck has the fake wood dash around the stereo and a small panel on each door as seen in the picture below. I would like to replace it with chrome pieces instead. What is the best way to go about doing that if it is possible? Any help would be appreciated!

 

pull em out, and buy new ones.

haha. Man I can be an ***. You would have to pull the door panels of to get the ones on the doors. But im not sure how the dash comes apart on the 06's.

 

tape it all off and spray paint them lol no dont do that that would be bad

 

I almost posted that earlier, but you never know with some of these guys. There might be a post two days later. "uh, how do you get spray paint off of the inside of my window. Oh, and whats the biggest size tire I can run?"

 

That's why you put a disclaimer. "this worked for me I'm not responsible if you screw it up"

But I remember nickahern pulled his off and painted them white a few months ago.

min came stock with a brushed aluminum look.

 

FInd the brushed ones on ebay, swap em out and sell the wood grain pieces.

 

I had the same wood on mine. MRK Group makes covers. There's quite a few people on here who have their stuff.
