Default Ram vs. STI

Do you guys think a 4.7 RCSB ram (with flowmaster muffler if that matters at all) is capable of beating a stock subaru sti with an inline 4?

Thanks

I really hope you mean the wrx, not the sti. The sti would put a hurtin' on your 4.7 my friend. The wrx is still iffy imo, could have a couple easy/cheap/sneaky upgrades that really help them out.

STi's are stock a 13 sec car. Your 4.7 is probably a 16ish truck. There's about 3 seconds between the 2 of you. So...no. Even the WRX's can be pretty quick.

They have a flat 4, and not a snowballs chance in hell unless he's not racing.

Please tell me you didnt put any money down on that bet. They wouldnt even let me test drive the STI around the parking lot. They say that car is set up to pull off of the lot, and go straight to a rally race, and compete. (Probably like they say you can take the Jeep Rubicon straight to the rubicon, yea, ok.) The STI is turbocharged as well as supercharged, a very quick car.

Even the WRX is a quick car. I drive a 4.7 everyday. With a practically stock 4.7, there are very many race inspired CARS you can beat.

I have a subaru imprezza wagon with a boxer. Off the line i can SMOKE mama but it dont take her long to wind it up and kill me, (short distance)...keep in mind, off the line, i have to hook up well first. More often than not i start to spin. When i spin, she even gets me off the line. Because of that im adding Bilstein shocks and a helwig sway bar I cant lose to a girl. Especially one i live with LOL
