i think magnaflow's are too too quiet......the ones ive heard anyways....the flowmaster seems to be a good tone ....with cut off cats ...<< all this from personally hearing it - i think there i a couple on youtube that you might be able to distinguish the sound difference ...but videos sometimes dont do any justice for exhaust sound

wow, what a coincidence. this is the same math you were talking about. buy the wife what she wants means you get to keep what you want. lol, this guy bought his wife a ram so he could have a corvette that seems like a fair trade off i bet everyone here wishes they had a wife like him with such good taste in trucks

Go to my album, and you will see why I chose magnaflow. I only have like 8 pics in there so you'll find it quick.

I am pretty lucky. SWMBO (that's She Who Must Be Obeyed) likes her trucks. I like fast cars. I've owned a Dodge Daytona Shelby, Civic Si (a long time ago) Trans Ams, Mustang GT's and a 1996 Corvette. I bought myself a 2008 Victory Red Corvette last year. She was kinda pissed as her truck was getting old. I hadn't bought myself a new car in a very long time, so I thought what the hell?

Anyway, her 2003 Ram was getting very long in the tooth, so I traded in my 1996 Vette, sold her truck and bought her the 08 Ram. If Mamasan ain't happy, no one else will be either!!!

She lets me do all the modding. Not too much I have to do for her, it came with nerf bars and bed rails. She had a grill guard on her 03, but I thought a bull bar setup looked cooler, and added alot less weight. The dual exhaust is a must on any truck, and since her's is a Sport, she already has 20 inch rims and tires so no need to go that route. Intake tube and Airaid filter, keeping the stock filter box. This truck is for street use only. I have a 1994 Jeep Wrangler with 4 inch lift and 33x12.5x15 tires on her, so the offroading and beach riding is for her. Unless it is raining, then the Jeep is my DD, as the Vette does not see any kind of water, unless it comes from a bucket and hose.

I'll post some pics of the Vette and SWMBO's truck sometime tomorrow, when I get the chance.

And thanks for the warm welcome and the advice guys. She wants me to hold off on the exhaust until sometime next week. Maybe I can talk her into the MBRP setup instead of the custom fabbed stuff.

That's a really nice Corvette. I wish that I could afford one of those.
