Default stock tires

hi all, i need to replace my stock tires soon. i am looking for 265/70/17's to replace the stocks. i hear everyone not caring for the goodyears to much. what is a good tire to replace them with without breaking the bank? i dont have a lot of cash to spend right now.

at discounttiredirect.com you can get the cooper zeons for around 600$ w/o the warranty. depends what kind of tire your looking for.

i'd like a semi-agressive thread, cost is a factor, i used up most of my funds buying the truck.

anyone know about these? help a newbie out.

Ok, I thought you might live a little closer to MD, as there is a tire shop I deal with locally that offers better prices than I could get buying off the Net and paying for mounting, balancing and installation.

I bought BFG AT/KO LT285/70R17's, and with a 2" t-bar crank and alignment I paid less than $850.00. Check online prices for that tire and see what you will pay.

Is that the tire you went with? The Cooper zeons were just released for smaller wheels. I haven't found them anywhere yet though.

ooh they released the zeons for the 17s?! nice, i bet theyd look good with a fat sidewall.

na, i just was googling (like a newbie) i had some duellers on an old f250 i had, was just wondering if anyone ran them here on the dodges. there pretty cheap.
