Default 285 tire fit without level?

Anyone using 285/75r/17 without leveling the front or lifting?

I assume 285/70r/17 will work without a problem?

Planning on using 17x8in rims. Wide enough or are 9in needed?

Anyone know what the outside diameter is on either of these?

Thanks

I had 285's on mine without having it leveled. My truck had a mean rake too, looked like a dog in heat.

i fit 285/75R/17's on mine without a level. It looked funny as hell, but they fit. oh, and I have a 2500, so i dont know if it would fit a 1500 without a level. it was pretty darn close before i put my level on.

I know I had mine leveled, but I think my 285's would have fit ok without a level. Maybe a bit tight. And they are on the stock rims.

its going to be a tuff squeeze without a level because there are a 34" tire and most people use a level for anything bigger than 33". i know a guy on here who put 275/65-20 tires which should be the same height and width as yours and he didnt level his truck out. just warning you, they are going to rub

I have an 05 with the 17x9 aluminum wheels and have 285/75/17 BFG TA/KO's on it and its not leveled. I think they look good because they fill out the wheel well. They don't rub or cause any problems.
