Default new truck

I just bought me a new truck.I was wondering if you guys could tell me if I got a good deal.It's a 2003 4.7 base short bed/reg.cab with factory 20's.I paid $7300.Trucks around here are high!

We have an Automotive section in our local paper on Fridays with an expanded classified section and a plethora of dealer ads, as well as reviews of cars, trucks and a featured local dealership and a "salesman of the week".

I could only find two comparable trucks, both at dealerships. An '02 QCSB 5.9 4x4 with 112k miles asking $11,495 and an '03 QCSB 4.7 4x2 with 86k miles for $9995. Remember, this is listed price at the dealer and I'm sure the price could be haggled down some.
You did alright if the truck has been well maintained and is in good shape. Maybe the higher end of the scale, but it doesn't look like they "saw you coming" by any means...

the truck is in great shape.For 97K miles it looks and drives great.I'm happy with it.

You are the one who is buying it so as long as you are happy with it that is all that should matter.
