bottom balljoint removal please help

Default bottom balljoint removal please help

i need help removing my bottom balljoint i have been messing with it for over an hour now and havent figured anything out so if someone could help me and let me know wat i am doing wrong please help thanks

You have a pic of how you are trying to do it? Aren't they just press in? I haven't looked at mine to see how they are installed but a pic would help.

I think they are press in. You'll probably need a tool, which you should be able to rent or borrow from Autozone or the like. On my old Dakota, I had them done by a local shop, and he said he had a hell of a time getting the old ones out, so it might take quite a bit of work, especially if they've been in there a while.

there is a snap ring you have to remove on the top side and you need a ball joint press with the correct cups or your going to be out side a long time
