Default HID Question

This may be the dumbest question but I just want to make sure...I am getting some new headlights soon and I was just wondering are all HID's the same size..like at pepboys can I just go in and buy a couple HID lights for my headlights and replace the bulbs and also the same thing for the fog lights?

Thanks

HID are not just bulbs. An HID kit includes bulb, wiring harness, blast, and ignitor. The bulb you are talking about are most likely just Xenon-filled halogon bulbs.

To install a HID kit properly, you'll need to retro-fit projector lens.

it would all depend on how you are getting customs headlights done. what do u mean by custom? painted? projection? halos? eyelids? clearing the ambers? all of that is custom but which sare you getting and what type bulbs do they originally take?

Yes. HIDs are MUCH brighter and more clear than halogens. I promise if you get them you will love them and will NOT go back

But are the xenon bulbs brighter? I just ordered a set of hella 500's, and want to put better lights in em, and was also wondering if the xenon bulbs were brighter.

Dont buy a cheap set of HIDs too. Alot of them will flicker and not work because of the Dodge computers.
