Blower, had to have had a blower.
As a rule I don't race.
Well almost never, I did just BLOW THE DOORS OFF poor Pyro and his truck with my lil 'ole soccer mom SUV daily driver a few weeks back.
But that wasn't even really racin'. He had it floored and I was just playing around at about 3/4 throttle to kinda walk away from him.
Anyway, I can say that even though I've never raced one, I've been in and driven a good many Ford 4x4's, they seem to be the truck of choice among my Ga. hunting club buddies. There is NO WAY, a 5.4 V8 Ford beats a Hemi truck even with a programmer and simple bolt on's. Every guy I know with a Ford 4x4 who has been in or behind the wheel of my truck has even agreed there is no comparison...

That's just funny right there, I don't care who ya are
I have one word for you ROUSHCHARGER. Gives the 300hp 5.4L about 450hp. More than enough to smoke a torque modulated hemi!! Gotta hate the drive by wire set-up. Give me my cable back!!!!

The f150 harley davidson models are supercharged.
I know i should have never admitted to it, but its an honest story. My 4x4, 3.55, 4.7 just aint going to run with a HEMI 2x4. just aint... YET. haha

At least the 09 F150 got a 6-speed which makes the most of the 5.4L 390lb/ft. We still have the same old ready to grenade when new 5-speed bomb.
This 5 speed is killing the greatness of our beloved Dodges!!

Depends on the body style...the older rounder 2002ish ones have a blown 5.4 like the lightning.
