For those with wheel spacers

I'm considering running 35's with my factory 20's. I know I will need some sort of spacer to make this work. From what I hear the thick aluminum ones with the studs in them will be the best bet. I'm wondering though is it noticeable that the front rims will be sticking out an inch or two longer or do yall put them in the back too?
