I was going to do the same thing back when diesel was $6 a gallon and they started actually discounting CTD's for the first time I can ever remember.
But I got just too much invested in my truck that I'd never get back. Plus, with my GC as a daily driver, I'm down to putting less than 8k miles a year on the Hemi.
I play golf with both the sales and service managers and they both told me if I really needed a diesel they'd try to find me a cherry 5.9. WAY too many issues with the 6.7, and that was coming from a dealer!!!

Best friend has an new 6.7L. The thing is awesome and he hasn't had a single problem. He was in the same boat as you about hearing bad things. He gutted all the emission controls and put so,e $$$$ in the engine. Granted he's only got 12k miles on it but it's been sweet to him. He seems to think its all the garbage he took off the truck and tuning it correctly.

I'm on the buy list too...IF you decide to sell.
