Default Doing burnouts hemi

I have a 2005 Dodge Ram Hemi, Standard cab, with stock 20" rims. Some friends and I are going to just mess around this weekend doing burnouts, trying to "drift" and basically just waste some gas with our trucks. Im not rich and I just bought brand new tires for my truck a couple months ago. Would it be possible to go to the junkyard and pick up some 17" rims with some used tires and use them to stunt? then just put my 20"s back on when Im ready to go home? what about my back brakes? Is there any way to just take them off so I dont wear them down? thanks

Oh comon guys cut him some slack, We were young once to.

As far as burnouts go in a stock 05 hemi with an auto, Good luck. I couldn't really maintain a good burnout until I put the CAI and the SC on it, And even still it's a little tough.

Take a look at Craigslist, There is almost always someone looking to get rid of some stock 16's 17's with worn tires for a couple hundred. I have a set of 16's Id let ya use if you lived around here.

I like the thought of just rims then throw in the taking off the brakes and being plaster. This is all a great Idea. I just hope you take enough beer with you so you dont have to run back into town. Oh by the way I hope you dont end up in a trauma unit somewhere.

P.S. Make sure you are an organ donor just incase.

****, at least he's honest? (man I hope you were joking)

but to answer your question, yes, you can throw on a set of 17" rims with tires for a bit then put the 20s back on later.

Don't know if you have 4wd, but DO NOT put it in 4wd with 17s in the rear and 20s in the front since the actual tire size is different as well.

sustaining a good burnout is in fact difficult if you can't lock the rear brakes out. unfortunately, at the moment I can't think of a good way to do so.

I hope you have a LSD (i feel that, in your case, I should clarify that I mean Limited Slip Diff and not the narcotic), or it's going to be kinda lame burnouts.

you might use a water bottle to get you started, or even better, BLEACH. don't inhale that stuff though, and don't use too much. hell, wash the truck after too if you use it.

take video

happy smoking!

well i've heard of some dumb things in my time but this is definately up there.

here's my thoughts.. if you wanna go do that fine but if you do it drunk then here's my suggestion. go find a bridge.. and jump off of it. I'd much rather see you kill yourself than others trying to drive drunk.

Good...if something happens hopefully you'll only kill yourself. Or in this case four innocent high school kids are dead and the drunk POS is going down for 4 counts of murder. http://www.wxyz.com/news/story/Woman...UVN_hUhpw.cspx Got the link from a guy on another forum that lives in this town.

I'm sure my post will get deleted like always...hopefully you see the link first and maybe think twice.
